"This had the potential to be so much better than it was. There wasn't enough time taken to develop the relationships between characters. For example Raven says that Antt is important to her, but all we saw was Antt introducing herself. The whole thing felt rushed as if it was a story that was written to fit in 2 volumes then was condensed to fit in to 1 volume. I liked the character and the premise though."

"As someone who was first introduced to Raven during the Teen Titans tv show in 2003, and then doing more research on her, I really loved the new direction that Kami Garcia has taken with her. I also loved her foster sister Max and the inclusion of the Voodoo religion."

"The author has done it again; she is an absolute genius. I hadn't been on edge for quite some time until this book. <br/><br/>The club goes to Vegas to have an R.K. Christmas. Raven stays behind to track down the serial killer. The book starts with Raven’s dark past. As always, the author rips your heart out. While grocery shopping to stock up for the impending snowstorm, Raven literally runs into Serena. Both are instantly attracted to each other. <br/><br/>While Serena is running and trying to hide out at her cousin's house. However, someone has other plans. After that day, Raven ends up saving her. Serena, with no recollection of what happened and, has amnesia. <br/><br/>Raven is tortured by his past and is riddled with guilt. He is rough on the outside, but to those he loves and cares about, he is protective, and a big softy. <br/><br/>Serena has gone 5rough hell, and back, yet her nightmare has not ended. She is one smart, tough cookie. She is a true survivor. <br/><br/><br/>The twist is something else. And it’s jaw-dropping. I was sitting at the end of my seat. I can’t wait to see whose book is next and what will happen. As much as I love all the guys, I can't wait to get in Dexter’s mind and read how he ticks."
