He thought she was the one…until she walked away. Now she’s back and he wants her more than ever.As a former Marine, Xander Kingston’s writing keeps him sane. Bonus? And just as dangerous to his heart.Sasha learned from watching her mother to never sacrifice her dreams for anyone—only to discover how empty life could be without the man she loved. Now cast in Xander’s latest movie, she needs his insight to play the part, but secretly hopes for a second chance.Xander has built emotional walls to keep Sasha at a distance, but their physical attraction can’t be denied. When a stalker’s threats intensify, Xander moves Sasha into his house to keep her safe. Before long she's back in his bed and making inroads in his life. But when the danger passes and the movie wraps, Sasha and Xander face a familiar choice—put career first or give love a fighting chance.

"<strong>Hated it from beginning to end </strong><br/><br/>This book infuriated me. How anyone could read this and think that Xavier was a good guy is beyond me. He is absolute garbage. He has no respect for Morgan. After she politely turns him down he let's us know that he will "break her down". It disgusts me that authors refuse to stop romanticizing men not taking no for an answer. I could rant all day, but I'll try to be brief. Just the highlights. Xavier is entitled and oozes arrogance. He gets off on torturing his roommates. He stalks Morgan at her job, around campus, her home and her parents home. He us constantly invading her space and grabbing her by the arm. He never stops smirking. He uses her disabled brother to get close to her. He's homophobic. He's controlling and selfish. He has zero respect for Morgan. Constantly forcing her to do things she doesn't want to do. He learns that a guy has a harmless crush on Morgan and arranges to meet her in his presence. He then begins to grope her in front of the poor guy just to rub it in. Again, Xavier is complete garbage. The kicker to this dumpster fire of a romance novel is the the end. Xavier messes up big time and breaks Morgan's and her brother's heart in the process but because he is such a great guy (insert sarcasm) he uses daddy's money to get out of trouble. So romantic. I really hope I never make the mistake of reading another book by this author."
