"I think this book is the best dystopian book I’ve read so far! It is very descriptive and it’s two part. Her “boyfriends” father, who seems to run the community, does not approve of the main character soon after she breaks the rules by helping someone that the society deemed unhelpable due to the burned in mark on her, indicating that she has done a wrong and is now shunned from society. The main character is therefore punished, and she decides the rules are stupid and continues , before it gets more suspenseful and thrilling, escalating quickly. I recommend this for anyone into dystopian descriptive writing, and anyone that is not weak hearted. Some of the parts were disgustingly descriptive, but in a good way. For example, they show a terrifying picture of how they burn the marks as far into the person who had done the wrong, using all the senses, like the smell of burning flesh. If you can’t handle such I either recommend not reading that part or parts, and/or to not read it. Happy reading!!!"

"This is a very well rotten book. I love the bit of romance and the dystopian concept this book holds."
