"The action in this book was way better than the first because it had larger consequences, was more engaging, and bigger players in the game. I still have some of the same issues I had with the first book, mainly the really odd phrases used that pull me out of the story and the weirdly sexual lense almost every female character is seen through. As well as Nick’s “sassy quips” please for the love of anything holy make this kid stop. It gets extremely irritating after about 2 chapters.

This ending has me more interested in the next book but I doubt I’ll be continuing the series beyond the third book seeing as it’s the last one I own and I don’t feel it’s worth it to locate the fourth."
