"Another excellent Michael Lewis read. The best part is that it's a true story. Who doesn't like an underdog story. Billy Beane failed as a player but excelled as an Major League Baseball General Manager.
When faced with the challenges of not being able to afford his star players, Billy didn't whine and give up. He thought outside the box and figured out some things in players matter that nobody thought enough about before.
Really fun to go along with this process and see how it turned out. Money doesn't always buy quality. Unfortunately MLB players still make way too much money in fully guaranteed contracts. "
