"If you want historical fiction/ fact? I highly recommend these books. William Gear is a historian who finds archeological sites and creates stories of the people who might have been in the mounds he's discovered. His way of writing compels you into the prehistorical timeline he has created in the book. I could not get enough of his books. And when his wife Kathrine gets involved in the writing I loved the series more. "
