"<strong>Bittersweet romance (spoilers for Lovers novel)</strong><br/><br/>Carinas story started in the previous book Lovers but unfortunately that did not end in an HEA for her character. We see her pick herself up and throw herself at work to get through her breakup from ex fiancé Jake. Family however, feels she’s not moving along fast enough so they intervene in a not so cliche way (completely unrealistic but hey this is why we read). Not to ruin the journey for you this “help” is what leads her to her man. She has a difficult time getting over past hurts and thus creates a wall like fort knox for said man to get through. I felt for Carina and was happy she got her HEA. Good read"
