Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.Evelyn Thomas's plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man in her room, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened. One thing is certain, being married to one of the hottest rock stars on the planet is sure to be a wild ride.

"2.5⭐️

I didn't realize that this book is a decade old. That might explain why I had a hard time finishing it. I would put it down and then just didn't have the urge to pick it back up.

I didn't particularly care for Evelyn. She was very plain and not very interesting as a character. I had love/hate feelings for David. There's one scene that I think he handled terribly, especially since he was sort of in the wrong. The way he talked to Evelyn just seemed so out of character for him compared to how he begs her to forgive him later on in the book.

I had to look up their names for this review because I really don't remember much from the book. It's an ok story with an HEA. The end."
"I found this book a little hard to read. The innocence mixed with the spice was a little weird to me. "

"Ok. I was unhappy with the way the conflict between David and Evelyn was resolved. I was unhappy with the basis of the conflict. I was unhappy that there were three perfectly good spots to end this book before breaking into an epilogue and the book just kept going. Seriously, the last 5-8% was unnecessary.

That being said, this was an ok book. I had a lot of issues with the language choices because you can tell these are Americans written by a non-American, so they say things Americans don’t say.

I applaud people of the world writing characters from different cultures but…familiarize yourself with the words and phrases they use, otherwise you just irritate the poor Autistic people like me :)"
"I love Kylie Scott, all of her books are great! His Banana by Penelope Bloom is another great read. "
