"I listened into book 2, but I came to hate its nonsensical nature. It reminded me too much of Terry Pratchett and Hitchhiker's, in that some elements of the story were completely random. Why do 2 second time machines exist, and what's up with guild of secret no name assassins trying to kill 2 kids, but then being warned off by poisoned ice cream? Far too much randomness."
"This was a weird little book but I liked it. There is some clash between steampunk/magic that is quite enjoyable."
