Now also available in the complete collection Legion: The Many Lives of Stephen Leeds.A novella from #1 New York Times bestselling author Brandon Sanderson, Legion is a fast-paced, witty, and supremely fun thriller with a psychological bent.Stephen Leeds is perfectly sane. It’s his hallucinations who are mad.A genius of unrivaled aptitude, Stephen can learn any new skill, vocation, or art in a matter of hours. However, to contain all of this, his mind creates hallucinatory people—Stephen calls them aspects—to hold and manifest the information. Wherever he goes, he is joined by a team of imaginary experts to give advice, interpretation, and explanation. He uses them to solve problems…for a price. His brain is getting a little crowded, however, and the aspects have a tendency of taking on lives of their own. When a company hires him to recover stolen property—a camera that can allegedly take pictures of the past—Stephen finds himself in an adventure crossing oceans and fighting terrorists. What he discovers may upend the foundation of three major world religions—and, perhaps, give him a vital clue into the true nature of his aspects.--------------------A note from the publisher: Brandon will send a free copy of this ebook to anyone who purchased the Subterranean Press hardcover. "Original, witty, and more than moderately intriguing, as good as Sanderson's novels and trilogies are his short stories are even better. In a short two-hour read he manages to play to his strengths, bringing out character depth and complex human issues in his insightful yet playful way. Seriously well done!

PG13 for violence."
"This is a mystery about a guy named Stephan Leeds. He was hired to find a stolen camera that can take pictures of different time periods. He has schizophrenia. He has different hallucinations that can give him information that he may need.

Brandon’s decision to make schizophrenia was both good and bad. It was an interesting idea, but it had bad respiration of Schizophrenia. It made Schizophrenia seem better than it was. I saw a few reviews of people saying that they wish they had the hallucinations that Stephan had. It makes sense why. The hallucinations are people. Each one have their personalities and are fun. Plus they give you whatever information that you need. I wished that Brandon showed it more as a power and a cures. Percy for an example had dyslexia and ADHD. They both have made it harder for Percy but his ADHD made it easier for fighting. Plus i watched a video of people with Schizophrenia describe what it’s like. I know that everyone experiences it differently but the book was different than how it was described. If you want to watch the video the link is at the bottom.

The only other problem that i had was that it was too short. There wasn’t even time for everything to be flushed out.

Other than that the characters were sun. The story was alright. The schizophrenia was interesting but could of been done better.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K8mpJuB4RDs"
"Similar to Scalzi's [b:The Dispatcher|26082188|The Dispatcher|John Scalzi|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1474569919s/26082188.jpg|46020966], Sanderson's Legion is a short-form book (88 pages) that takes a cute idea (in this case, an A-Team of operatives composed solely of the many aspects of a guy with multiple personality disorder) and stretches it about as far as it can go. And it _is_ a cute idea. But I found Sanderson's execution flat and too desperately fishing for a "gee-whiz, that's neat". I'm not convinced yet that this short-form genre isn't structurally doomed - too little space for any real development."
"Great read. Probably my favourite novella so far. Short as it was, it felt like a complete book. With very interesting characters, a unique device, mystery and action all in one. Muy bueno."
