"I really loved this book until i found out that the author stole the illustration style and content of the book from a lesser known black female author. loved the content but very disappointed by this :( This was my review before finding out about the copying: “though most of the themes of this book i already knew, reading it was a very helpful and needed reminder, enforced the ideas that i already had, and has encouraged me to further practice what i preach. i was worried that since it was written by a white woman it would have a skewed or different perspective of feminism than what i had hoped for but i was very much proven wrong (no more making assumptions!!) 10/10”"

"Great read as an introduction to feminism but also a great read for a pick me up, self esteem and overall wellness honestly.. got called out for some things I needed to be told and it opened my eyes to why things go downhill for me often. Lol got lucky and read this at an ironic time in my life. I'd totally recommend this book. FYI an easy read and super cute illustrations."
