"Greta James, who is a musician, takes her beloved recently deceased mother’s place on a cruise with her father whom she has a tense relationship with. This book has all the feels. I liked the parts that focused on Greta’s relationship with her father. I didn’t like the whole relationship with Ben. I thought he was boring and whiny. This was a cute book but just not my favorite. It was okay. 3/5 for me. "

"Really good book. Heart felt and moves through the motion of losing someone and not having the want to do something that seemed so easy. Although not my go to book it was a good read and ended up really enjoying it!"

"This is the first read for me from Smith and I was not disappointed! I love what I call "destination books" and this was one of those. And the punny title is just a bonus.
Greta, a famous indie rockstar decides at the last minute to join her widowed father on an Alaskan cruise. Ok, her brother may have guilted her into it. so, it's not as "awe" as it sounds. Greta and her dad have been at odds for years. They butt heads and never get along. This cruise is going to be challenging for all.
Read."

"This book makes me want to go to a cruise on Alaska even more! I loved reading this so much. It made me smile and it made me tear up at times. I loved the ending and how open it is (which is funny as normally that makes me mad). A fast paced read and as of right now, my favorite book I’ve read this month. Honestly, everyone needs to read this."
