"Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is such a classic yet its wording is uncomplicated so it's a perfect choice for translation. There’s lots of different kinds of creatures and people so I think that it would help one to memorize those types of words. However I disagree that this is a way to learn spanish as an english speaker who has virtually no prior knowledge on the spanish language. This would certainly be better suited for someone who is trying to increase their fluency rather than a total beginner. I would recommend highlighting words that you recognize that match up as you read so you can see how the texts align as some translations are longer than the english ones."
"The joy of this book definitely holds through for me as an adult. I go into the details of the story, as I'm sure that most who are reading this review are familiar with it (via the many books or movie renditions). Alice's journey into Wonderland is a wonderful tale for readers of all ages.<br/><br/>Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is full of humour in the forms of clever puns, jokes, and advice. I think is one of those books that you'll discover something new each time you read it and interpret it differently as you get older.<br/><br/>What I appreciate most about Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is its ability to make me forget about everything happening in the real world. I just get 100% focused and immersed in the world of Wonderland.<br/><br/>I see some reviews complain that the story seems random, but that is the beauty of the story; it takes logic and limitations and throws them out the window. Just allow yourself be lost in the story.<br/><br/><a href="http://www.myareads.wordpress.com">Click to Read More of My Reviews</a>"
"Alice is one of the most annoying characters in history. Why is this book a classic? I threw the book across the room multiple times because I couldn't punch some sense into the characters. One star only because I like "off with her head" and I'd like to apply that treatment to every character of this "children's book"."
