"I really loved the portrayal of friendship, it was very well written! The only things I didn’t like was the amount of swearing (it got a bit excessive at times) and of course the...special...chapter 7. Chapter 7 is a short, spicy story that Gordy wrote in college, it’s just meant to show that he became a writer. If you’re not a fan of spice, you can skip chapter 7 without missing anything. Other than that, and a couple offensive jokes, I really enjoyed this book! "
"I grew up loving this movie so i decided to read the book. I love how it goes into more details about the characters and their lives in the book 5/5"

"Finally got around to reading this book, and I loved it. I do think I like the movie a bit more, but that may be just because I saw it first. Either way, this is definitely one of King's best imo, and proof he can write more than just horror."

"If I'm being 100% honest... I didn't really like this book. 2/5 stars. I didn't really like the characters or the storyline. I just was honestly bored most of the time. If it wasn't so short I would've DNFed it.... Sorry. There's a movie, Stand By Me. I probably will still end up watching it. Maybe it'll be better."
