"Wodehouse did not let me down! This is only the second book I've read by him—the first being [b:Something New|26210292|Something New (P.G. Wodehouse Collection)|P.G. Wodehouse|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1441165710l/26210292._SX50_.jpg|795296]—and it was just as funny as I'd hoped! Wodehouse's heartfelt yet hilarious prose and dialogue were so enjoyable.

As for the end, I was a bit disappointed that it was Jeffrey's body that made Maud realize she wanted to be with George. I would have been happier if it had been just time apart and the breach of promise case that led Maud away from Jeffrey and to George."
