"This was a cute little story to add more background to Narnia and surrounding kingdoms and countries. My only complaint was that it was a little slow, but I understand it was written for children so there is a lot of explaining to be done while world-building so I push through. I did enjoy seeing more of Aslan and the four children as royalty. I am looking forward to the rest of the series."
"* We’re free Narnians, Hwin and I, and I suppose, if you’re running away to Narnia, you want to be one too. In that case Hwin isn’t your horse any longer. One might just as well say you’re her human.
* To hear is to obey.
* Easily in but no easily out , as the lobster said in the lobster pot.
* One of the drawbacks about adventures is that when you come to the most beautiful places you are often too anxious and hurried to appreciate them.
* And the hated you tried not to think, the more you thought.
* If you do one good deed your reward usually is tone set to do another and harder and better one.
* After all, this road is bound to get to somewhere.
* I am telling you your story, not hers. I tell no one any story but his own."
