"3.5 stars rounded up.<br/><br/>This was a good read with a good twist that a lot of people wouldn't see coming. I was able to partially guess properly how it would end, but not with all the details. <spoiler> I was able to predict the fact that there would be a character in an asylum of some type, but due to the narration tactic the author used the character that was there evaded me. The characterization was so believable that I was shocked when it was revealed Rob never existed. </spoiler> All of the characters were well written and had authentic voices for teenagers that were high school seniors about to graduate.<br/><br/>There were some cliches, but at some point it becomes unavoidable when writing cabin in the wood killer stories. <spoiler> Though the reasoning Liam had to kill everyone felt a little like a rip off of [b:I Know What You Did Last Summer|47763|I Know What You Did Last Summer|Lois Duncan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1348843470l/47763._SY75_.jpg|967250] with the revenge for a hit and run involving a kid on a bike. </spoiler><br/><br/>I was a little surprised at how the sex scenes that were in the novel were described along with the anatomy described since this novel was presented as a YA novel and not New Adult. Though it still wasn't graphic I was surprised it wasn't a "fade to black" scenario with them."
