"I thought the concept was sound, but it failed in its narrative execution."

The imagery in 'One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish' was much more compelling.

I didn't think it did justice to the thematic complexity of the concept of success; in particular, the problematic ways it is often represented in our cultural narrative.

It lacks the whimsical tone present in 'Fox in Box' and 'The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,' for example, resulting in an uncomfortable sort of juxtoposition when considering it in the context of Suess's entire body of work.

Its light and superficial consideration of the subject matter stands in the way of any real literary merit."
"I just love the message. I give it to friends who are contemplating a career change, graduating, or starting a new chapter in their lives. Yes I am aware Dr. Seuss was a POS- thank you."
