"Didn't not like this book. However, there was waaaay too much inner monologue about how the FMC feels energy from the world and how she channels it etc. Like half the book was this. By the end, I was just skimming to see if anything was going to happen. Spoiler alert, it didn't. If you're into books with very little conflict between the characters, this one is for you! Also, sold as a stand alone, but feels like there is a ton of backstory that never is explained. Has a huge effect on the characters and their relationship, but is sort of casually mentioned as something that happened. Weird."
