"<strong>frustrating </strong><br/><br/>Consistency is what I’ve come to expect from Adriana Locke and her writing and don’t get me wrong SJ enjoyed this story but one of the secondary storylines kind of overshadowed Oliver and Shaye’s story. I won’t go into detail so I don’t give any spoilers but I found myself more invested in the other story. Still loved Oliver but wish their story was a little stronger."
"Continuing the series after Merciless was a must for me! I’m hooked and just like book 1, I couldn’t put it down! <br/><br/>JD and Reid are back and Mav has inserted himself into this equation. He came for her like he promised he would. It wasn’t rainbows and butterflies when they reunited. Secrets unfolded that wouldn’t be accepted overnight. <br/><br/>The tension ran high in this book and JD still was that shining character for me. The four of them are still trying to navigate the world they are a part of, while formulating their own plan to change it. <br/><br/>Book three needs to hurry up! I NEED it in my life! <br/>"

"This book (and it's sequels, Refuge and Rogue) felt like the Hunger Games and Divergent series with supernatural creatures thrown in like vampires, werewolves, demons, and fae. Tells the story of 17-yr old Sara Grey, who gets into trouble with vampires. She's rescued by a member of the Mohiri that she falls for, and learns she is more than just human. YA a little more grown up without a giant smutfest 😆. #supernatural #vampire #fae #romance"
"Absolutely loved this series! "
