"This was a short read but not entertaining for me. The main character is rude and obnoxious. There were a couple of adult situations included, but nothing to get excited about. The ending felt rushed and incomplete. Not a book I could recommend."

"Bit of an iffy main character. Super bratty and funny but also unclear on her own motives. Still, hilarious dialogue and the idea of white trash lady becomes queen of the damned is...a path someone can choose to write. Like, I can't exactly recommend it but I think I'll be reading the next one anyway? Its dated to 2004 and shows in a LOT of ways."
"All hail Queen Betsy! Shoe obsessed, well dressed and under extreme duress- whats a newly undead girl to do? This is the first in an amazing series about Betsy, a secretary who accidently dies and becomes the Queen of all the Undead. Tall, blonde (in almost every sense of the word) and completely self absorbed, her adventures and inner monologs will have you in tears. Did I mention the studly Vampire Sinclair who stalks her and tries to get her to agree to the position of Queen? Yup, he's there too.
