"Read half of this and forgot I was reading it. "

"This book is undeniably effective and has withstood the test of time, however it feels intentionally misleading at times in the way it elevates how to sell, and build relationships with less than authentic intentions. I highly recommend reading this book in conjunction with Covey's 7 Habits and Cain's Quiet - both of those books provide a more stable foundation in addition to this book, and offer additional context to the Carnegie method. In an age where influence and information reign over power, and platforms are increasingly broader, the ability to build authentic and transparent relationships is paramount - Carnegie is a good start, but does not fill the needed gaps in our current era."
"One of the best books I've ever read. Much of this book is common sense, but Carnegie presents everything in very clear and engaging anecdotes. This book isn't really a book about how to be successful in business, but rather a guidebook on how to be successful in life. Carnegie puts a huge emphasis on being a good person. This is a truly inspiring book that changed the way I see people and the world."
"There's a reason why this book is one of the most popular books. I think this books is incredibly helpful for learning about how to deal with people and influence them to do the right thing. The lessons in this book should be the base-line of all human behavior. This book is full of anecdotes that corroborate the tips and its an easy and fun read."
