"Ellen Lambright I had a hard time when she found out her best friend Mandy and her husband were moving to Hawaii to help Vickie. Mandy’s family lives in Indiana and she will miss her family so much, but when Ken gets a call that his father passed away from a heart attack- They are both called to move to Hawaii to help his mom. Leaving her friends And family behind is not what Mandy wants to do but she knows she has to be strong for her husband and do what’s best for them in this hard time. Mandy and Ken don’t want to leave their bed and breakfast behind in Indiana, but they can’t run a business and live in Hawaii at the same time. Ellen was hired to work at the B&B and help prep meals for guests, Ans clean rooms as they left. But when Mandy and Ken share the news that they have to sell it, Ellen is now out of a job that she LOVES and will miss extremely bad. As Months pass and Mandy and Ken deal with the death of Ken’s father passing away, Vickie owns the organic chicken farm and she will need help maintaining the farm. So when times are hard Dan left thinking of himself and not his family. Vickie is not happy and throughout the book, Ken decides he is going to go surfing in the ocean with some friends. Taavi and Rob are watching everything as Ken feels like surfing could be his hobby once again.
