"This book, this whole series really, was such an amazing read! The characters, the world building, and the plot are all soooo amazing! There were loads of twists and turns in this book, so I was constantly engaged and entertained! Plus, the romance is to die for! Kai and Paedyn are so sweet together! They're one of my favorite couples ever, and I'm so happy that they finally got the ending they deserve. The ending was, as promised, very bittersweet. This has been such an amazing series, such a wonderful experience, and now that it's finally over I'm kind of heartbroken. Arranged marriage, forbidden romance, slow burn, tension & banter, betrayal & secrets, touch her & die, deadly trials, morally grey MCs, and dual POV! This is a series that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a y/a fantasy romance! It's 100% worth the read, and I will definitely be reading it at some point! "

"3.75 ⭐️ I loved Powerless and really enjoyed Reckless. Powerful destroyed me. Sadly, this one did not do it for me. I found some plot points repetitive and pointless and some gave me the ick. It felt long and predictable which was frustrating. I still love Kai though. He pulled me through this book. The way he is with Pae leaves me in a chokehold. "

"4.5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫. Kai is easily one of my favorite MMCs of all time. The words that come out of this man’s mouth will make you swoon like no other.
This book is jam packed with adventure, pining, swooning, banter, heartbreak, triumph, and joy. I really enjoyed myself reading it and could not put it down.
It missed the mark of 5 stars slightly for me because of a plot twist that I didn’t like; It just didn’t sit well with me and the ending felt a bit rushed. So even though it pained me to do so I just couldn’t give it the full five stars. But I would highly recommend this series. It’s absolutely worth the read. 🫶🏻❤️📚"
