"I would say overall this book is 3.5 stars!! I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t anything unique or crazy. I liked it, but probably wouldn’t read it again!
I listened to this as an audiobook. Majority of the book was pretty bland and exactly what you would expect to happen. Most of the book was 2.3-3 stars. However I wasn’t expecting the ending and I give the ending 4 stars!
I don’t know if I would necessarily refer anyone to this book, but it was a fun listen while I went on a road trip! "
"Good read and good story but wasn’t crazy original, feel like I’ve read many similar stories. I loved the characters and was very intrigued to see how it ended, and boy do I love a good twist!
***SPOILER ALERT***
I was mildly disappointed when it was found to be Aaron and the heat the reason he killed them. It just felt underwhelming. BUT boy was o shocked to find out it was Meg and Aaron was willing to take the fall for her. In typical Natasha style the book ended suddenly and didn’t give me the closure I want. However this is expected with her so I’ve learnt to make my own endings …
Blake runs as Kenzie suggests and goes into hiding temporarily. Kenzie goes to speak with Aaron to tell him what happened and convinces him he needs to come forward with the truth as Megan is dead anyways and lying will only hurt those still alive. Aaron being be protector he is will want to protect Kenzie and her heart and will agree. Aaron and Kenzie both speak to the detective and tell them everything. Aaron polished his tone for his crime and is released. "
