"What a wonderful addition to the collect, giving a mouse a cookie, is a great cause and effect story. If a mouse shows up in your house, you may want to please him, but pretty soon hell be asking for more and more and pretty soon the mouse is creating a domino like effect. We see cause and effect as to if you give something to a mouse this is what the response will be. This is a humorous book, with an even more lovely set of illustrations.<br/><br/>This is a commonly used literature book in the classroom, as it is decodable through multiple strategies, whether it's through the use of pictures, or in the easy vocabulary. As a teacher, I would implement this into an early grade reading lesson for word decoding. Ideally, I would want to have the entire book series in my classroom that my students could use for assignment-based activities, and for independent reading for lower grades or my lower readers. <br/>"
