In a world that’s conquered death, will humanity finally be torn asunder by the immortal beings it created?Citra and Rowan have disappeared. Endura is gone. It seems like nothing stands between Scythe Goddard and absolute dominion over the world scythedom. With the silence of the Thunderhead and the reverberations of the Great Resonance still shaking the earth to its core, the question remains: Is there anyone left who can stop him? The answer lies in the Tone, the Toll, and the Thunder.

"Wonderful ending to the trilogy! It has become obvious that the Scythedom is no longer serving the intended purpose and something must be done. The Thunderhead, having to find ways to counter it's own rules of non-interference in Scythe business to help humanity start fresh. The book ends with hope for the future of mankind."
"Dang this is one of the best series I've ever read. The ending was surprisingly satisfying for all characters and even the how the world was left even after so much conflict and unexpected twists. It's long but deservedly so so that we can the ending we needed. Masterful storytelling. "

"Unpopular opinion: I didn’t enjoy this book. It just didn’t flow like the others did, maybe because of the change in editors. This series was very good and clean (aside from a few swears, but there’s a lot less swearing then there is in a lot of YA books) and worth the read, but I regret buying them because I don’t think I’d read them again. "Loved the series. Cried at the ending. Top 3"

"Honestly, I love the first two books. Especially book 1, and this book is so full in comparison. I found myself skipping to the end because of how long and drug out it was. The completion was beautiful and of course the main characters are still lovable but it was poorly written. Overall I was disappointed "
