"Not for kids for sure
The first story was interesting, but fell a little flat since I was hoping it would be connected to the background of Help Wanted, and it was a little confusing. But I suppose that was probably the point.
The second was full of tense moments that ramped up, and then made me a little bit frustrated that I haven't seen many 'happy endings' in these books.
The third...it was interesting and creepy and definitely messed with the mind...but it also felt like it was poking fun at trans people / being a bit aggressively transphobic. After I finished this book I did a little research, and I'm definitely not the only one who noticed this.
Whether the writers or Scott meant to do this (in interviews the writers say that was not the intention) or not, it still made me very uncomfortable. And not in a 'wow this story is creepy!' kind of way...
On another note, the ending story (the black pages) I really enjoyed, and liked how it connected to the first book."
