"I think I enjoyed this book way more than the other two because the show branched off before this book was published (i think??) it was different than the show so I didn’t know what to expect and it was good. I’m a little sad that Mary Kay won’t be in the next one because I enjoyed season fours plot but the ending was fkn wild "

"It's funny how Joe is truly someone you love to hate. Morally, on all levels, he is not a good guy. However, in this installment, for once, he makes you believe he is the victim. He called himself a "good guy" throughout the book, and compared to the last two books, he's right. New York Joe and Los Angeles Joe would have committed more crimes to keep the girl. But this is "good" Joe, suburban Joe."

"2.5⭐<br/><br/>You Love Me is the third book in the You series, and while I had really high hopes for this one, it was pretty different from the other two books. You Love Me does not have the same charm as the previous stories. Joe isn't really as conniving anymore, and he's just whiny. I was frustrated, and I missed the humorous aspect. I was hoping that this book would pick up where Hidden Bodies left off, but there's a time jump. There was information about what happened during that time, but it still felt like a chunk of the story was missing. Joe and his love interests have been intriguing in the past, but this one was not. I wasn't really interested in the story until the last 20%, and it ends up getting so far-fetched. I finished it because I still want to check out the next book since I think the series is continuing, but I was pretty disappointed in You Love Me.<br/><br/>CW - addiction, cheating, termination of pregnancy, suicide, misogyny, antisemitism, animal murder, mentions of sexual harassment & assault, mentions of pedophilia & statutory rape"

"I liked the first book because it was a plausible look at how easy it would be for someone to stalk you with social media but the second book and then this book got more and more outlandish and I just didn’t care for it. "

"This book was better than the 2nd one I’ll give it that. To me it wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the greatest either. At this point it feels like a repetitive rhythm with this series. Joe falls for a woman, destroys almost everything in their life, he falls out of love or his victim dies and it’s off to another state to fall for another.
I am a fan of the first book, it’s probably one of my favorite books but as much as I do enjoy the somewhat growth of Joe, it’s just not as good as the first but it’s more coherent than the second. I still enjoyed some of the plot points and the overall writing. Caroline remains one of my favorite writers overall."

"Out of the entire series so far this was my least favorite book I was going to give it a 3 star because I felt like it was a little redundant after some time, and didn’t answer some questions I felt that needed to be addressed. But then when I hit towards the last 10 chapters I could not put the book down and climax was really unraveling. Therefore another star was added. <br/><br/>It’s definitely a different approach from the other two books. The ending was sad to say the least and very twisted. I imagined something much differently but instead the ending of the book took a turn. So I liked that it wasn’t as predictable as I thought it would be."
