"Kurt Busiek has written some truly amazing comics, but I don't think any series will ever equal his work on Astro City. He continues to use superheroes to comment on the human condition, and the series remains brilliant. He's able to create sympathetic and involving characters in the case of single issues, and while there are often continuing stories going on and a bigger picture behind the scenes, almost every issue can be read as a standalone. Of course, Brent Anderson and Alex Ross keep the series looking good. It's one of the best comic series ever created."
