"Classic. A good read about once a year (and something new hits me each time). "

"I liked and hated this book simultaneously. I was disappointed since it has been highly recommended.
There are definitely some good ideas and content in this book, but there's also a lot of ideas and comments that are flat out tone deaf.
Here's an example from the final chapter.
"The only reason you suffer is because you choose to suffer"."
"4.5/5. The 4 agreements should absolutely be the foundation of every persons life/social life and can be internalized no matter who you are. Only knocking off a half a point because I think the author is redundant throughout the book and at times it felt like a run on, but otherwise an easy, helpful read"
"“The Four Agreements
1. Be impeccable with your word.
2. Don’t take anything personally.
3. Don’t make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.”"
