So so stupid

First of all, this is erotica, not romance. It's a letter to Penthouse with a bare minimum story. Erotica is fine but I bought this book because it was listed in romance. Very misleading. The people in this book have sex almost as frequently as the breathe. Not one character places any sort of importance on sex. That's fine. People can enjoy sex with as many people as they want. However it really takes away from any sort of connection between the main characters when John is constantly reminding us how he has slept with every girl you see him talking to in the book or bragging about his foursome. Sabrina has also slept with every guy in this book at some point or she lets the reader know how much she wants to. Even her best friend's boyfriend isn't safe because she tells us how badly she wants to see his *****. The guy she has hated for years, Dean, she ends up having a deep heart to heart with late in the book at which point she confesses to us that he's the best looking guy she has ever seen and that she would have ended up with him if not for a misunderstanding. Really? How could I possibly care about the relationship between Jake and Sabrina when she is constantly drooling over every other male in the book and confesses that she secretly wanted his best friend this whole time even while she is carrying John's baby? Why would you write this? What does it add? It only lets us know how little Sabrina cares about Tucker. Now, Tucker is where I wanted to pull my hair out. He's from Texas and this author is a huge proponent for stereotypes so every other word out of his mouth is darling. It's infuriating. I hate men that won't call women by their name and darling is the worst. It's used at least 100 times in this book. Ugh. Tucker is also a huge creep. His thoughts are only about having sex with Sabrina and every calculated thing he does in this book is to get her pants. He stalks her. He follows her home and sleeps outside her house. Major creeper but the author would have you believe he's the greatest guy who ever lived. He's so relentless that Sabrina literally has to beg him to leave her alone at one point. It's ridiculous behavior. Sabrina spends the entire book pushing him away and even though he is constantly groveling for even a moment of her attention she spends the second half of the book pushing him away because she got pregnant and she doesn't think he loves her. Just so stupid. The guy does every thing she asks without complaint, begs her every day to spend time with her and is just plain pathetic and whipped. Every character in this book is awful. Dean is disgusting all around. Tucker's mom is hateful. Sabrina is stubborn and unbelievably selfish. Tucker is a creepy doormat. Her friends are unsupportive garbage people. His friends should be in jail for sex crimes. Awful book. Awful story. This author should be ashamed of herself for taking people's money when the book is not what it's represented to be.
