All I wanted to do was live my life in peace. Maybe get a cat, expand my spice farm. Really anything that doesn't involve going on a quest where an orc might rip my face off. But they say the Goddess has favorites. If so, I'm clearly not one of them. After saving the demon Fallon in a wine-drunk stupor, all he wanted to do was kill an evil witch enslaving his people.I mean, I get it. But he's dragging me along for the ride, and I'm kind of peeved about it. On the bright side, he keeps burning off his shirt.

"I didn't really expect much going into this book, but it was actually pretty good! It didn't have a lot of complex world building, but the main characters did have to go on a quest. It was fast paced, simple, and lots of fun! I loved the banter between Cin and Fallon! This book is spicy so beware! Overall a very fun read! Definitely deserves more hype!"
"This was cute, I wish there was a little bit more banter and angst between Cin and Fallon but all in all it was a cute story with great **** and some plot built around it. I loved the diversity, and the and badassery in the women that Lemming writes. I also love that this story didn’t take itself so seriously and I had so many moments I lol’d because Cin is a dangerous woman with some apples. Great time! Happy reading!"
"That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon is a fun adventure romance that is quick to get through because it's the size of a novella. There was a ton of modern language and slang that kind of threw me off in the beginning but was easy to adjust to. Also, the main character's name, Cinnamon Hotpepper, was a bit odd. I would definitely read more from this series because of how quick the read time is. However, it's not something I am eagerly anticipating.

Thank you to Edelweiss for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review."

"4.5

this is so ridiculously cute and funny. i was smiling and laughing the whole time!! black plus size fmc who is hilarious and a demon/dragon go on a trip together to destroy an evil false goddess

i would have loved 200 more pages of this tbh, but for how short it is it didnt feel rushed at all!! the fantasy plot was well thought out and while it didnt overpower the romance, it was a big part of the book!!

im so excited to binge the rest of the series"
"I honestly wasn't expecting much from this and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. I had to much damn fun reading this. It wasn't too extensive. It didn't dwell too much on everything. I didn't need a heavy backstory or long drawn out exposition. This was just good read. Hell, a great read. I really enjoyed every minute of it and finished it in a day. I love the dynamic between Cin and Fallon. I actually was having so much fun I didn't really care about the pacing. Even though things happened in the span of a few days, the book had self awareness and wasn't going to fast honestly in my opinion. I would highly recommend this if you really want to have fantasy, a fun story, HILARIOUS banter, and a standalone at that."
"I’ve seen two Booktuber a talk about this book and honestly this needs more hype!
I had so much fun reading this, I honestly wish it was longer. The book was only 170 pages but so much happened and it was so well paced that it didn’t even feel short!
I swear I was cackling as much as I was swooning while reading this lol I absolutely loved Cin and Fallon as well as all the side characters! I’m also so surprised and impressed that this was the author’s debut novel! There are some modern slangs mixed into the novel but it never took away from the fantastical elements at all. (In my opinion it made it even better!)
In conclusion lol i F-Ing loved this novel and will definitely be checking out more by this author."
