"I DNFed it; it was too slow that I couldn’t get out the middle. I must prefer the movie due to its fast pace and humor."

"Funny and fast paced (pun intended). This is a satire, tongue and cheek action thriller. It also deals with the philosophy of people who enjoy inflicting pain on others and those sections can get a bit slow. But 5 assassins on a bullet train, what more do you need to know! Which assassins will you root for?"
"I found the movie on Netflix and decided to play it on whim, and it ended up becoming my new favorite movie. I was excited to find out it was a book and quickly bought a copy. The book is very different from the movie, such as The Prince is far darker and more unlikeable. I didn’t like his chapters very much but Nano and the fruit made up for it. I appreciate both as separate medias. I loved Lemon and Tangerine just as much as I did in the movie. Looking forward to trying out more of Isaka’s work!"
"This was a super fun popcorn movie of a thriller about several assassins and other shady types all trying to complete their missions on one crazy train ride. The characters are all larger than life and feel bold and unique. The tension never lets up and every tiny detail that ever comes up is tied up perfectly by the end.

I would have given this 5 stars but there's a minor side character who, while I enjoyed her, was constantly assailed by transmisogynist jokes and that bugged me. I'm hoping that gets fixed in the upcoming film version."
