"We've all been there, grappling with a heartbreak that leaves us reeling for what seems like an eternity. In this novel, the author channels her real-life experiences, pouring raw passion and authentic feelings into her storytelling. The heart of the book is undeniably relatable. It touches on the universal theme of heartbreak, drawing us into a world where we've all been at some point. Yet, for all its promise, the novel falls short in some aspects. While it attempts to explore the layers of a 'situationship,' the connection with the main male protagonist feels somewhat lacking. The plot, while having the ability to have a lot of potential, is not fully realized, and left me seeking a deeper emotional connection with the couple. In the end, this novel has the essence of a compelling narrative, but it leaves us craving that heart-wrenching, head-over-heels love connection that makes you feel for both sides of the story. I did not feel that in here."
