"How much g. Heyer have you read? She is one of my favorite authors, and this is one of my favorite books she’s written! Things to know before you start: this book happens just after the Jacobite rebellion (1745..ish) and georgette Heyer wrote it in the mid 1900’s, so it feels… older. If you’re expecting Bridgertons, this book it not it. But if you like comedies of error, crazy parents, cross-dressing as your brother while he pretends to be you, and towering, unflappable gentlemen… it’s excellent"
"My God this authoress her girls are no BS witty hilarious good humor and no dumb tropes! This one is a brother and sister are in disguise and try to stay that way and avoid the hangman's noose meanwhile the sister Pru enters the typical man's world of London and tries to outwit a man she's fallen for to keep her family safe ...make coffee/tea and read on a day off."
"Lighthearted,fun read"
