The New York Times bestselling of Eternity brings her signature “enchanting and exquisite” (BookPage) prose to the second in the Forever Trilogy following Darci Monroe as she must solve a devastating mystery that hits close to home. When her beloved husband vanishes after a strange accident, grief-stricken Darci Monroe is left to raise their young daughter alone. But she can’t help but suspect that the reports of his death are untrue. When the FBI enlists her intuitive talents to solve a heinous crime, she agrees—if they help to uncover the truth about her husband. It may be a tougher deal than Darci imagined: she must go head-to-head with a criminal whose mind power matches hers at every turn. And she must discover if those in the highest circles of authority have her best interests at heart—or if someone intends to sever the everlasting bond she shares with her one true love.

"I didn't enjoy this collection of stories as much as I have others by this author. (Author's note said these were her first stories so that might be why). I would say the last two stories were better than the first two but I had issues with all of them.
Issue in the first story -- they've been separated for years. I hate stories that have years of conflict and then suddenly everything is fine in a day or two. Also hated that the conflict was centered on a misunderstanding and both characters being childish.
Issue in the second story - she's stranded for nearly a year with no contact with her family or his family? She's a stablehand basically?
Issue in the third story - my huge issue is she's been cheating on him from the start. Unlike the first story where it's wrongly assumed the heroine is cheating, this one actually did cheat.
My issue in the fourth story was the kind of flimsy set up for the conflict but compared to the other three it wasn't so bad.

So overall these are just ok. I recommend her "seasons" books more."
