Here I am formulating my own ideas and was pleasantly surprised by Anna's chosen direction. Easy to fall in love with the characters Eve and Caleb. You want what they want. Hurt when they hurt. Want the King to suffer for the pain he causes. The rebels and Caleb's involvement with them drew me in-- hook, line, and sinker. How deep is his involvement? Does he really love Eve? Is he "really" dead? Can't wait to read #3!"

"Well another one that I am giving up halfway through. When I had read the first book I was really on the fence about if I liked it. Well by midway through I realized I just didn't care about any of these characters. The writing is fantastic, after all there is a reason I still wanted to check out the second book.
