"How it went down is about how it went down after Tariq Johnson died from two gunshot wounds. Tariq was black and was shot by a white guy named Jack Franklin. People were wondering what he did to be shot. Everyone who saw it thought something different from another person. Some think it was Tariq fault and some think Jack had no need to butt in to "help".

How It Went Down was a good book. Kekla Magoon did a great jobShowing everyone's point of view on the shooting. In my opinion, it was a little bit confusing sometimes. I would read this book again so I can understand it a little better. One question I have is what year does it take place in because I either missed it or it wasn't mentioned, all it says is that the shooting was on June 2nd at about 5:30 pm."
