"Alright, so, this one barely makes this list for a couple of reasons, A. The romance doesn't start till book 2 (And trust me book 1 is the best in the series) B. The main romance...sucks...just a bit... the leads have around no chemistry in book 3 (book 4 is really where their relationship shines.) But I feel like this series has a lot to say on the subject of love and family overall and while the leads have just the roughest start the overcome a lot of hardship together and it makes them stronger as a whole just... stop after book 4 the rest of this series had a steep drop-off and honestly 4 wraps up pretty nicely anyway. "Ayla, the main character is so realistic that for years I would think, "I wonder how Ayla would react to this?""

"That's it??? After all that, this is how it ends? Ugh. While I really enjoyed the story, I had some major problems with this book. I don't know if I can continue the series because the writing was so frustrating, but I want to know what happens! I'm not even going to list all of my issues - there are just too many, but the last quarter of the book almost made me forget them because it got so much better. Too little, too late."
