"It was entertaining and the characters were pretty great. A few of them were endlessly clever, and I couldn’t get enough of their constant witty banter. But for some reason, the story just felt kind of anticlimactic. I don’t know. I liked it, but I wanted to like it a lot more than I did."
"This was such a fun, popcorn movie of a book. Fast paced novel about a group of influencers from a TikTok-like app competing in a strange challenge for a $500,000 prize. Most of the characters were super fun (I loved Stella but Francis was kind of a non-entity) and I enjoyed the mystery, but the way it shakes out at the end was a little silly to me. Overall though, great fun."
