"4.25 ⭐️ This is book 4 in the standalone but intertwined books from the Lovelight Farms series. I didn’t read books 1-3 first and I definitely knew I was missing some inside jokes/backstory. It was still super cute though. Nova and Charlie decide to have a no strings attached one night stand but quickly discover there is more to their attraction than they thought. I loved their story and feel so invested in the hilarious side characters I’m going to go back and read the first three. "
"This book is incredible.

I feel like I relate to Charlie for a few reasons, which helped me love the book more. The character development that Charlie and Nova both experienced felt so realistic. I loved seeing more of Nova and Beckett's sibling relationship and learning more about the Porter family.

If you want a fall read, or just a good, attention-grabbing read, please pick up this book (and this whole series). You will not regret it."

"“The thing about love It's just yours. Yours to have and yours to keep. You don't have to earn anything. You belong here. I want you to know that you don't have to be anything other than exactly who you are. I know you've been hiding, Charlie. But I see all of your colors. The bright ones and the dark ones too. I see how you're always tilting towards the sun. Forget-me-nots were always my favorite, and —well. You're kind of my favorite too."

This was such a good read and my favorite in the series. Charlie and Nova were so so cute and swoon-worthy. I love how tender and steamy the main characters were especially when dealing with the feelings that came with life and their no strings attached casual hookups. Charlie and Nova were such great characters with so much depth and layers to each other. I loved the aspect of Charlie's loneliness and the front he had put up for others. Their chemistry was also amazing and the found family aspect was sweet. This is opposites attract done so well and overall this book was a great comfort and steamy read. Thanks to Berkley for this arc for an honest review!

Read if you like:
- Opposites attract
- Golden retriever mmc
- Black cat fmc
- Small-town romance
- Casual hookups"
