"Steamy and Teasing

H.D. Carlton has done it again!! Ronaldo is such a tease I'm the first half. It was so nerve wracking and had me screaming "COME BACK!" But for Ronaldo to become so "soft" around Genevieve was beautiful. He is such a romantic at heart. This book pulled at my heart strings a few times though."

"A few interesting twists, a little bit of hope, quite a bit of action. (Still lots of preaching. Still lots of repetition but much of it actually served a purpose) I feel like some facts changed from the beginning of the series, but a lot of the "what about" questions I've had before have been answered a bit. I think that this book so far has done the best to tie the other books together. The narrator was way better too (IMO)"

"This book is amazing! Being a huge fan of Phantom of the Opera, I was quickly drawn into the world of this modern day version (as well as listening to the soundtrack the entire time I read it). The characters are well developed and are exact replicas of the ghosts of the original, only with some twists. All the use of the quotes from the play and the book were brilliant and very well thought out. All in all I loved it and could hardly put it down.

Becca/Christine was the shy love sick girl that was expected. She was invisible to all until she tried out for the school play. As the book develops Becca realizes that she can't always be the damsel in distress that Christine was, she has to be her own hero. In the end being strong and independent helped save lives.

Justyn/Phantom is the mysterious new boy who instantly catches the attention of Becca. Everyone thinks he's weird but he pushes through it and proves to everyone that he's not who they think he is. With everything that happens, all the drama and the doubt that Becca has in him, he pushes on and stays true to himself.

Tom/Raoul is the fun loving boy who everyone wants to be friends with. After he realizes the talent that Becca has, he instantly falls in love with her and realizes that he has competition with Justyn. He also learns that you shouldn't always judge a book by it's cover.

This really is a modern day version of Phantom of the Opera. The allusions to the book and play a reoccurring theme in every chapter. I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the Phantom of the Opera. Even if they aren't, they can still enjoy the beauty of a well written story."
