"I enjoyed this book to begin with. it was different crazy and pulled you right in. Through the middle of the book though I just felt detached from the world they were searching in. They didn't know much about where they were and you never learned enough about the place. It kind of felt like the sun cried and this world turned into paper but why? Why was this world so different is it magic did someone make it this way? There just wasn't any rules so the world didn't feel real. And the worst part was they only explored a little then out of no where the story ended and everyone who lived went home the end."
"This book is so underrated! The story is absolutely wonderful, and though it is aimed for 12-ish year olds, I absolutely loved it and it is a great reread as well. I read it when I was younger and then read it again more recently, and it's a very heartwarming, exciting, and fantastical story. :)"
"I LOVE THIS BOOK!! This was a random buy but it's been my favorite book so far. Definitely for a younger genre but really suitable for anyone over 12. Taherah Mafi doesn't get enough credit for this insanely amazing book."
