There’s more to me than just being awk-weird. I own my own flower shop, have some great friends, and I have my eye on adopting the most adorable kitten. But sadly, hot guys don’t tend to be blown away by my trivia-spouting, dorky self.So when a Thor-lookalike who happens to be a professional hockey player hits on me at my bestie’s wedding rehearsal party... You better believe I climbed that tree like a cat. And the fact that it happened not once, not twice, but three times? Yeah, that’s pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a woman like me.There’s zero chance I’ll end up ever seeing him again...right?Until the pregnancy test comes up positive. What happens next?Oh my God, I wish I knew...Each book in the Ice Knights series is STANDALONE:* Parental Guidance* Awk-Weird* Loud Mouth

"I love pregnancy and baby romances and the premise to this one was really cute but it just didn’t hit the right notes for me. I rooted for the main characters at first but after a while they became very tiring. A conversation could have prevented a lot of the conflict and problems in this novel. The characters felt very stagnant and Tess desperately needs some therapy but just was magically “fixed” because of a hug. I wasn’t a fan of the ending. The writing was repetitive in some parts. If I ever have to read “her girl(s)” again, I might give up on reading altogether.

Also, sorry to say, but I hated the cat in this story. So unnecessary."
"I read reviews prior to reading this book, sort of out of boredom but also out of curiosity. What caused this to happen? I saw a one star review first and I was like “oh no,” because if you read things that you find disappointing as often as I do, you start to pay attention.

I read the review. And then I read the book. And after reading the book, I can’t even figure out why the one star review says half of what it does because…I don’t see the problems at all.

This book was cute enough and ended well enough and the beauty of it was that FOR ONCE the woman made the grand romantic gesture as opposed to the man. Which is GREAT. Especially because Tess was the one pushing the temporary status of the relationship so hard.

The most glaring problems I had with the book?
- Tess’s incessant need to CONSTANTLY refer to her friend group as “my girls.”
- every single person is “quirky.” Quirky as your only personality trait isn’t cute, it’s annoying."
"Right now I’m read beard science. It is book 3 of the Winston Brothers by Penny Reid. Super funny and good. "
