***spoiler alert***
After they killed the MC pet I thought "no it must be another animal they're playing with her" but I saw other comments mentioning they really skinned and pinned her pet on her door, and the love interest tattooed his initial on her without her consent... Falling for the guy who killed your pet for fun, no, I guess that's my line. Also, I saw people mentioning they had their first intercourse and there may not have been any consent, and she didn't like it, so... I am out. The trigger warnings were not in the audibook I listened to (amazon music). Wish they were, I wouldn'thave spent my monthly audiobook token on it.
I love dark romance, but that's too far. We need to have dark romance with a good emphasis on consent."

"Dark academia always gets me. I devoured this and now have another 4 unhinged men to be obsessed with. I loved how the plot was set up in the first half of this, before any romance happened.
