"This book was alright, but it wasn't anything spectacular and the audiobook was somewhat off-putting. The narrator gave major creepy uncle vibes, which made it a bit difficult for me to really enjoy the book in the beginning. The plot wasn't overly complex and it was actually pretty slow paced, but the characters were well written and enjoyable. Definitely a character driven story! Charlie was such a sweetheart, and it was obvious from the very beginning how genuine his feelings for Vivian were. Their romance was very sweet and emotional, but the spice was cringy. This book does deal with some heavier topics, so check the content warnings! Definitely not my favorite book ever, but I don't regret checking it out. If you're considering reading this book, do yourself a favor, and stay far, far away from the audiobook!
