"I'm in love! It's amazing to find a new author so thanks to whoever recommended this to me. Absolutely loved it. The characters were hilarious and flawed and fun. Such an amazing growth of love. My only thing was in the beginning... I found it pretty unbelievable that they all went to highschool together and ended up together later. I feel like that doesn't really happen when you have a professional athlete in the mix. However, and this is a big however, I didn't care at all after the first 30 pages. I read through the night... And I have two kids. I read through playtime! (Thank goodness my girls were having fun together so I didn't have to stop) Lol. So so good"
"A spicy book, the relationship is okay moves from dislike, to fridends all the way to lovers and then being in love. Rory has such a good heart, but he needs a little more character development from the start, but overall, he is a sweetheart that thinks of others and wants to take care of his long-time love hazel. Hazel is a strong-willed girl who wants to prove her worth and help people feel good and loved for who they truly are. Toghther they fit into each other lives like a puzzle.

"Such a cute and easy read, it gave me exactly what I was wanting to know for the sequel to Behind the Net! The spice didn’t overpower the story and Rory and Hazel’s relationship is such an adorable haters to lovers story. This book also leaves a cliffhanger for the next book. I’m excited for book 3 and cannot wait to see where it goes with the next couple! "

"Stephanie does this thing where I’m absolutely in love with the MMC from book 1 in her series and I’m thinking to myself “there’s absolutely no way he’s getting dethroned” boy o boy I love to be wrong! (I still absolutely love all the Rhodes brothers and Jamie ❤️)
The chemistry between Rory and Hazel is just *chefs kiss*
I’m swooning as I sit here thinking back on these two.
And how Rory’s relationship with hockey changes throughout the book… just"

"This is Hazel and Rory’s story and I devoured it. Hockey romances will always be my favourite. It was better than the first book (and I liked that one). So many tropes are in there and I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll just say read it it’s a perfect cozy read for the holidays.

For the curious ones:
- ennemies to lovers
- boy falls first
- fake dating
- etc.

Thanks to the author for an arc copy of this book!"
