Tucker Max
The “highly entertaining and thoroughly reprehensible” #1 New York Times bestseller—now with sixteen pages of photos and a new introduction (The New York Times). My name is Tucker Max, and I am an asshole. I get excessively drunk at inappropriate times, disregard social norms, indulge every whim, ignore the consequences of my actions, mock idiots and posers, sleep with more women than is safe or reasonable, and just generally act like a raging dickhead. But, I do contribute to humanity in one very important way: I share my adventures with the world. --from the IntroductionActual reader feedback:"I find it truly appalling that there are people in the world like you. You are a disgusting, vile, repulsive, repugnant, foul creature. Because of you, I don’t believe in God anymore. No just God would allow someone like you to exist." "I’ll stay with God as my lord, but you are my savior. I just finished reading your brilliant stories, and I laughed so hard I almost vomited. I want to bring that kind of joy to people. You’re an artist of the highest order and a true humanitarian to boot. I'm in both shock and awe at how much I want to be you."

"I read this entire book. Still have a hard time believing it is a 100% true. Nevertheless, it is a disturbing look at our society today. "

"My favorite book is In the Lake of the Woods by Tim Obrien, but it's been a long time since I've read it. It might be time for a re-read soon. A more recent fave is Ghosts of Eden Park, it's a true crime story about a bootlegger "

"Unfortunately, I can't give this book a lower rating like negative five stars. I actually threw the book in the trash. And I'm a book lover. Before this book, I considered throwing books away a sin. But, Tucker Max proved that some books are okay to burn or throw into the garbage heap. <br/><br/>Basically, this is a memoir of a narcissistic asshole, who thinks he's entitled to everything. And he's proud of being a pompous, arrogant ass. <br/><br/>The stories are disgusting (thanks for the grotesque detail of doing anal on a girl. Really needed that visual--not!), Tucker Max is exactly what's wrong with this world. And this book is an abomination to the written word. <br/><br/>After saying all of that, Tucker Max probably considers all of the above to be a compliment. <br/><br/>"
