"Beautiful book but not something I’d say is 100% memorable for me. I think it’s relatable in many ways as a child of immigrants, but I think I kind of lost the point of what the story was about. Took me a bit longer than normal to finish reading this as it got slow at some parts. That said, I still think it’s a beautiful book with good parts to it and I’d still recommend it despite the plot not moving as fast as I would’ve liked."
